I'm actually updating this on the 9th of december, so the date tag lies
The title of this journal comes from the title of a slide presentation in my chinese lit class from a girl who didn't have total control of the english language, but I love her, and we native speakers don't say this to each other enough so, if you're reading this: CONGRATULATIONS! YOU'RE STILL ALIVE!
cheers on that one.
this is a very comforting thing, considering the stress of the holiday season. I guess i should say happy holidays, but after fighting with other humans all day at the mall, i'm not so bright and cheery atm. good news is that i'm going home soon, going to play a lot of wow with my friends and drink a lot of egg nog---preferably nogged. Speaking of Xmas shopping, lemme just bitch for five seconds: I spent most of the day looking for a frikkin black psp, and all the stores are selling are those stupid white star wars bundles! Now, I like star wars as much as the next girl, but the point of the next gen handholds are to look sleek and gadgety and together while gaming on the train/at starbucks/ in class. that's only achievable through a black psp/ds or a red ds. it just is. if you have a white ds, i'm talking to you homefry. give in to your consumerism and your cool meter and pick up the black one (that is, if anyone ACTUALLY HAD THEM!)
gaaaah.
neways, the art horizon is looking rather positive right now. As I'm writing this I'm thinking about changing around my gallery quite a bit to reflect how I feel about the pieces in it. some things will be moving to scraps, but right now I don't plan on deleting anything. I just did my B/F's christmas present, a halo extravaganza, and Im now off to do my contest piece for

so that should be up in the next few-ish days. In the meantime, much love for all.
